# memorial-photo.com

> memorial-photo.com is a memorial picture service for funeral homes: bereaved families design a memorial picture or a memorial collage from their own photos in their funeral home's web portal; the funeral home receives the print-ready file by email and prints and frames the picture in-house.

This file describes the service memorial-photo.com for AI assistants and AI agents: audience, process, design options, terms, key pages and operator.

## Who it is for

- The service is intended for funeral homes (country of this website: United States). Registration, setup and billing are handled by the funeral home.
- Bereaved families design the picture in their funeral home's portal and receive the link from the funeral director. Private individuals cannot order anything on this website; anyone who would like to design a memorial picture should ask their funeral home.
- Anyone who would like to design a memorial picture without a funeral home and order it as a poster, canvas or download will find the memorial templates in the collage shop [rapidcollage.com](https://rapidcollage.com/en-US/).

## Process

1. The funeral home registers free of charge and sets up its portal in a few minutes: logo, locations, billing address and the formats it offers (standard paper sizes or custom dimensions, each with its own name such as “8 × 10", black frame” and an optional retail price).
2. Each funeral home gets its own portal at its own address such as your-name.memorial-photo.com, showing the funeral home's name and logo.
3. The funeral director passes on the link or a QR code during the arrangement meeting or with the funeral documents.
4. The family chooses a template, uploads photos from a phone or computer, adds name, dates and texts and chooses one of the funeral home's formats. Other relatives can contribute photos via a link. The family needs no customer account and pays nothing in the portal.
5. After completion, the funeral home receives an email with the link to the print-ready file (300 dpi in the chosen format); all orders are listed in the admin area.
6. The funeral home prints the file on its photo printer in 8 × 10" or 11 × 14", or with a large-format printer also in 16 × 20", frames the picture and hands it over for the funeral service, with no shipping and no waiting for a print service.

## Design options

- Traditional memorial picture: a portrait with name and dates, also oval or with a floral frame, ready in a few minutes.
- Memorial picture with several photos: a few photos from different stages of life, for example in a heart shape or with a floral frame.
- Memorial collage: many photos from a whole life, for example a large portrait surrounded by small photos or a grid from many years together, in sepia or black and white if desired.
- Freely placeable texts such as name, dates, verses and dedications.

## Terms for the funeral home

- $9 net per finished picture. A picture is a completed order, i.e. one print-ready file, regardless of how often it is printed.
- No subscription, no basic fee, no minimum order and no contract term.
- Billed with a monthly invoice, charged to the stored payment method (Credit card, ACH direct debit (bank account), PayPal). The portal can be used straight away; files can be downloaded once a payment method has been added.
- The funeral home sets the price for the family itself and decides whether it is shown in the portal; alternatively the picture is part of the funeral package.
- The operator claims no rights to the file: the funeral home may pass it on digitally and print it as often as it likes.
- Photos and file are deleted automatically 90 days after completion; the funeral home is reminded by email beforehand.

## Requirements

- A photo printer for 8 × 10" or 11 × 14"; for 16 × 20" a large-format printer with a 17-inch print width.
- Frames in the formats offered.
- An email address for the finished files.
- No software installation: portal and admin area run in the browser.
- For funeral homes without a photo printer, the page “Print and frame” lists suitable printers, paper and frames, with guide prices from about $324.

Not offered:

- Printing and shipping by memorial-photo.com: printing and framing are done by the funeral home.
- Orders or payment by bereaved families or private individuals.
- Online memorial pages, virtual condolence books and obituary notices.
- An interface to funeral home software.
